“This band started when I was in high school, but it’s always been the same,” says vocalist Matt Honeycutt. “I want to write shit I want to write about. That’s never going to change. I’m fortunate enough to still be doing this, and I’m not going to take that for granted. I think, in a world of chaos right now, it’s important to stick to whatever it is you want to say. There’s a lot of bullshit out there and people feeding you what is going to get you stirred up, or maybe what they think you want to hear. The only thing I’ve learned is to just keep doing whatever it is that you want to do. If they don’t like it, there’s something else to listen to.”
