News: Tim Lambesis of As I Lay Dying Files Restraining Order Against His Now Ex-Wife Following Damning Videos

As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis has recently filed a restraining order against his now ex-wife Dany Norris (formerly Lambesis). Lambesis has been on the frontline of many stories lately and for the past few years, and this one might just top it off.

Most recently, the band gained attention because of bandmates parting ways. Bassist Ryan Neff was the first to quietly leave the group. Not to mention, their tour manager jumped ship shortly after. Probably the most shocking was when Ken Susi left stating “his personal morals have recently been tested to a breaking point.” Many fans were dumbfounded by all of this because it all just happened so fast. AILD’s drummer Phil Sgrosso exited the band with few words stating that he wishes to ”distance myself from the band in an effort to retain my personal health and integrity.”

The next big bombshell shortly after all this was when videos surfaced that appear to show Lambesis abusing his ex wife, lunging at her, yelling at her, and harming himself. The internet reacted without much surprise, considering Lambesis was found guilty of trying to hire a hitman to kill another ex-wife.

Lambesis claims that the toxic relationship between his now-ex has come to a breaking point. “This woman assaulted me and verbally/mentally abused me over three years. I took the much needed and overdue step to leave her yesterday by delivering divorce papers. That is the reason there have been attempts at retaliation toward me online today that pale in comparison to what will really be the focus of the courts.”

We’ll see what else surfaces, but these videos following the reputation Lambesis already has is definitely concerning, to say the least.
