Homeshake is the long-running solo project of the Toronto-based musician Peter Sagar, and he has announced the deluxe version of his album Horsie. The lead single, “Waiting For The Phone To Ring,” has also been released to accompany the news of the deluxe album. The album is set to release November 8 via Shhoamkee.

Horsie (Deluxe) will be the third album that Peter has released this year. This one in particular features melodic guitars placed overtop of saturated drums, woozy vocals, and treading indie beats and jazz influences. It has six additional tracks on top of the 12 released on the original. Horsie was originally released back in June, serving as a follow-up to March’s CD Wallet. It was written and recorded at his home studio in Toronto.
This record deepened his relationship to loneliness and anxiety via examination in themes of the context of touring. It employed various textures influenced by artists like Four Tet and My Bloody Valentine.
