NEWS: Worst Ways drop debut single “Shattered”, announce signing to New Age Records

Today, CA hardcore heavy-hitters Worst Ways dropped their debut single “Shattered” and announced their signing to New Age Records, who will release their debut self-titled album on November 1st. You can pre-order limited edition vinyl here.

Formed in 2016 under the name Original State, the band morphed into it’s current form post-COVID when founding members Phil Mengell (bass), Grant Hodgon (guitar) and Trevor Baxter (drums) added guitarist Ryan Saunders and vocalist Jonnie D to the mix. Their latest offering, recorded by Paul Miner of Buzzbomb Studios, is heavily influenced by classic’s like AFI and 7 Seconds with shades of modern acts like Angel Du$t thrown in for good measure.

“Shattered” is a punchy, punky anthem with a blazing fast beat and some impressive riffs, a perfect mosh friendly introduction to what fans can expect from the upcoming album. The furious guest vocals from Marshall of The Warriors adds an extra dimension to an already strong record. You can stream the song here.
