Abduction bring the heavy with their new single “Razors Of Occam,” with this masterpiece of a video directed by Jake Kindred. The U.K. is known for their black metal, and Abduction bring severity of metal to the table with an exquisite album Existentialismus coming out February 21, 2025 via Candlelight Records.
The vocalist of Abduction A|V says about the song, “‘Razors of Occam’ is a celebration of the back-breaking labour that our grandfathers and grandmothers endured over the past century to build the houses and systems that maintain our (relative) safety and comfort here in the west. There’s more honor in the last gasping breath, spilled forth from a dying old man’s chest, than in all the seas of all the tears the younger can conjure. For with one wish, they’d give it all away.
Existentialismus was created in Nottingham by Producer Ian Boult at Stuck On A Name Studios, with post-production mastering by Tore Stjerna ( Watain, Mayhem, Destroyer 666) in Sweden at Necromorbus Studios.
