Album Review: Nanowar of Steel -XX Years Of Steel

5/5
Italy’s power metal band Nanowar Of Steel bring a comedic style of death metal with a twist of humor and absolute fun. NOS are dropping their latest elusive masterpiece live album XX Years Of Steel  on December 6 via Napalm Records.
The parody metal band massacre the stage with their high-energy musicianship, and blends of humor keeping the audience captivated for 20 years now. With XX Years of Steel, they introduce their first triple CD release.
There is so much to be said here about this enormous collection of massive metal, but let’s give you an enticing sample to get your death metal juices flowing. The first CD, “Intro “and “Sober,” set the tone for the whole creative canvas, getting us ready for destruction. “Sober” sets sail into the sea with an entertaining story of pirates that remain sober so they can live forever and raise plenty of hell.
“Barbie, MILF Princess of the Twilight (feat. Alessandro del Vecchio)” is pretty wild with a video (feat. Favio Lione) with a somewhat sarcastic song showing how glamour and the materialistic humans are quite amusing. Nanowar of Steel have been well known and are respected for many years in the music business.

The whole album will crush you with massive metal, amazing musicianship, and intricate sounds. Over to the CD two, this clever collection takes you on another journey into their eclectic canvas. Track 20, “Norwegian Reggaeton (feat. Charly Glamour (Gigatron))”, goes far from what we have ever heard before. They uplift with their fast metal, combining reggaeton with such originality.
Fan favorite” Stormwarrior of the Storm” is absolutely brilliant! The band say about the song, “‘Stormwarrior of the Storm’ is the first weather metal song. It is dedicated to the real Nostradamuses of the modern age—the scientists/wizards working on the weather forecast.
“To our knowledge it is also the first metal song mentioning the Navier-Stokes equations, bringing to the metal public the importance of numerically solving non completely integrable equations.”
For all the songs, you need to get a bag of popcorn and have no distractions. For all music lovers, especially lovers of metal, you will be shocked and amazed with how they came up with all of this magical comedic metal. Thumbs up, horns high!
