The newly reunited, newly reformed Swedish godfathers of gory death metal, Grave, have announced their first reunion show of 2025. The band are set to rock their first show April 5 in Stockholm, Sweden. After that they’re booked to play Germany’s Party.San Metal Open Air, Czech Republic’s Brutal Assault, Switzerland’s Metal Storm Over Luzern, and The Netherlands’ Graveland Festival.
They posted the following on their Facebook page:
“May 24 Visby, Gotland SE @ Donners event
“This is your chance to see the original Grave lineup live in our hometown Visby where it all started more than 35 years ago. Visby is the main town on the island of Gotland which is located in the Baltic sea. With the support of two native Gotland bands, this will be a night you don’t want to miss.”

Grave’s current lineup consists of original frontman Ola Lindgren, drummer Jensa Paulsson who originally played for Grave between 1988 and 2002; bassist Jonas Torndal who originally played for Grave between 1989 and 1992; and guitarist and vocalist Jörgen Sandström, who originally played for Grave between 1988 and 1995.
