FVRMN (aka Fever Moon) unleashed their monster new album Back To The Whip this past spring and received rave reviews and even a semi-viral highlight with the music video for the title track. The band enlisted special guests Mike Watt, Chris Broach, and other friends to help out, and the result is a blazing collection of driving songs built within a frame of big fuzzed out guitars and gut-wrenching darkly comic lyrics. Now, the band have dropped a new single which premieres here today and hits digital streaming platforms on December 6. “Our One True Love Will Destroy The World” is a special single specifically for December 2024’s Bandcamp Friday and features Jay Holmes and Danny St John (The Ladderback) as well as Sean Husick (ex-Milemarker, Ghost World) on drums. The result is a powerful sound and a searing end-of-the-year anthem that brings a tiny sliver of hope to this decaying atmosphere that threatens to strangle the life out of us.
