Video Premiere: doubleVee – “Dangerous World”

New Noise Magazine is ecstatic to be premiering the “Dangerous World” music video from doubleVee. Not sure who they are? Oklahoma City’s doubleVee is former Starlight Mints frontman Allan Vest and producer Barb Vest, and they have come to bring an erratic form of rock music to the world. In this video presentation, doubleVee showcase their magic in the form of their soundscape, while also contributing a rather mad and visually cryptic video alongside. “Dangerous World” is off of The Moonlit Fables of Jack the Rider, released on February 10 via CEN/RED Distribution, a division of Sony Music. The record is a concept record following the story of Jack, who falls into a world that is not like how it seems, and “Dangerous World” captures the beauty of this story perfectly.

Allan Vest offers the insight to the video, “Our ‘Dangerous World’ video is set within an off-kilter world and centers on the vulnerability of facing temptations, never knowing when the ups and downs might stop and when a fight might be necessary. It was shot at the Western Avenue Boxing & Systema Gym and a 1923 building called The Paseo Plunge in Oklahoma City that once featured a public swimming pool, perfect settings for telling another one of Jack’s moonlit fables.”
